Kahawa Estate Coffee awards

Kahawa Estate Coffee was awarded its inaugural medal at the 2010 Royal Hobart Fine Food Awards, in the first year we entered our beans into competition.

In the years since, we have won multiple medals for both our Lava and Magma coffees at the Royal Hobart Fine Food Awards and the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show. These two annual events represent some of the highest calibre competition for coffee in Australia, bringing out the best of the Australian coffee industry, including both Australian grown and imported beans.

We are proud to have been awarded medals every year since 2010. Our first gold medal was awarded in 2014 for Kahawa Magma in the ‘Espresso’ class at the Royal Hobart Fine Food Awards.

2018 Sydney Royal Fine Food show: Silver medal in the “Piccolo, 100% Australian grown coffee from a Single Origin or Regional Blend Estate” class, and Bronze medals in the “Espresso, 100% Australian grown coffee from a Single Origin or Regional Blend Estate” class and the “Latte, 100% Australian grown coffee from a Single Origin or Regional Blend Estate” class.
